Earlier this month I spent the afternoon with Katherine, Duncan and their 6 month old daughter Frankie. I met Katherine some four years ago when we went to the same bootcamp (a big shout out to Bassey of Bassey Fit who is one of the most motivational trainers I’ve ever met!) and we became good friends. I was honoured to photograph her marriage to Duncan a couple of years ago and also spend some time documenting their time with Frankie in her very early days. Following on from this, they invited me to lunch at Rocksalt, in Folkestone, and to spend some time observing them as a family. How could I refuse – such a wonderful unit of three and fabulous food!
We went for the seafood platter – very decadent and truly amazing when it arrived! Our eyes were on stalks when we saw the quantity and variety of seafood! So it would seem that young Frankie has a penchant for lobster and crab – good girl!! So here we have it, documentary evidence of this fact. After lunch we headed down to the seafront where Frankie could feel the sand under her feet. I’m not sure if she was terribly amused mind you.
