After spending an afternoon with Katy and Mark, their two children and family, I was delighted to be asked to pay a return visit to document bedtime for their children Alfie and Evie.
Documenting what is normally just the routine of nightly bedtime, is a wonderful way of freezing these moments in time and in isolation are actually quite magical. It’s just that life gets busy and it’s so easy to take the little things for granted. All of us parents will understand how quickly time goes by. To capture little ones whilst they are still at this stage of their life, is a very special thing to do. Speaking from experience, it’s also a lovely thing to be able to gift to your children for later life. For this reason, I feel passionate about documentary family photography.
