I first met Anna, Suki and Orla at Beth and Mike’s fabulous wedding in Jersey. And here we are, a year on!
Anna wanted to natural shots with her girls, and being that St Quens is home for their family, it was only natural that this was the location of choice for their shoot and Jersey Family Photography. St Ouens, on the west of the Island, is a beautiful part of the Island, with it’s far-reaching golden beach, it’s a prime spot for surfing with the beach being exposed to the Atlantic. It’s pretty spectacular.
I met them at their home initially then we all headed out together. And gosh how the girls had blossomed in a year. I was greeted with a very warm welcome from Orla in her sparkly shoes and pretty dress and a flower in her hair! Just gorgeous!
I’d checked the weather forecast beforehand and all looked well. It was pretty breezy, but dry at least. The sea was pretty feisty and the tide was on the turn. The girls had come armed with their buckets and spades, ready to collect some pebbles and build some sandcastles! After a few races, it was off to The Water Splash for a treaty supper of curly fries and beans and cheese on toast (a new one on me, but it looked very tasty!). It was back home for ice cream, dancing, teeth cleaning and a bedtime story.
It was a real joy to spend a few hours with Anna, Suki, and Orla and have the privilege of observing them as a family. Orla, in particular, has the most charming facial expressions and is such character! Whilst Suki, even at her tender age has a real elegance about her. A beautiful family.
Here are a few of my favourite images from our time together…
Here’s some lovely feedback Anna gave me…

I love looking at our photos, especially how she has captured my younger daughter & the expressions of wonder & delight that are so captivating.
