I had such a lovely morning with Jo, Craig and their two year old daughter Verity at their home in Canterbury. Understanding how quickly their daughter is growing up, they wanted to freeze some these moments in time, not only for themselves and their family, but for Verity to enjoy in the future. I remember how my when my son was younger, he used to take great delight in seeing images of himself!
When I arrived for their Canterbury Family Photography session, breakfast had been eaten and Verity was about to clean her teeth – so that’s where the coverage began! Verity is such beauty and such fun! Those quizzical expressions and sense of adventure – these are all the things I love to capture, as well the precious time spent with her parents. As it was time for Craig to head off to work, I followed Jo and Verity to Littlebourne to visit Pop (Jo’s Grandad, Verity’s Great Grandfather), whom they have an incredibly close relationship with and see regularly. I’m so pleased that I was able to capture some natural images for them as I feel these times are so important to document along the way. It was a pretty drizzly day, but that didn’t deter anyone or all the exploring!
Here are a few of my favourite images from our time together….
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback too…
Catherine took some beautiful shots of our family that we will cherish forever. We were made to feel very relaxed and comfortable around her which enabled her to capture our world perfectly. Thank you Catherine for these priceless images.
